| Daytona Beach Real Estate - Listings - Sales - Foreclosure Report for 2009 |
As a follow-up to my recent post titled "Daytona Beach Real Estate Listings and Sales 2000-2009 Market Reports", I decided to write this post, which shows just how many of the 2009 sales were foreclosures and short sales. Once again, I've included a bar graph. And for statistical purposes, on this graph I've also posted the actual numbers of how many of these real estate sales were along the lines of foreclosures, pre-foreclosures and short sales.
As you can see by the sales numbers, a significant number of the 2009 real estate sales for the city of Daytona Beach were not traditional seller-to-buyer sales. Lisa - well you brightened my day with that chart. What an aattention grabber, including the news about the foreclosures, Seems that youa re seeing data that are similar to other areas. Great information for your buyers and sellers.

Jeff- All the decade charts I did for each city were VERY similar! But I'm noticing some pretty big differences in the number of sales that were foreclosures as we look at each individual city. As a matter of fact, just look at the difference between Daytona Beach, and Daytona Beach Shores. The Shores had a much lower number of sales that were foreclosures.
